In one Age, called the Fourth Age by some, an Age yet to come, an Age long past, a wind rose in the Land of the Crystal Throne. It sped across the great Aryth Ocean to the Tai’Seanchan coast. It continued over the Mountains of Mist, picking up the scent of Two Rivers fine tabac and singing along to a tune made by a Tinker’s tea kettle. It swirled around the vast prairie known as the Caralain Grass, with it’s Black Tower fortress, and the island city of Tar Valon, home of the fabled Ogier-made White Tower...The wind swept through the valleys, skimming along the lake that once was Shadar Logoth, lifting the raven in flight. It howled through the Blight past the snorts and bellows of Trollocs, carrying on it the stench of their cookpots and rot as it whipped by a Myrddraal without creating so much as a ripple in its dark cloak. If you listen closely to the wind you can hear the sound of “friends” whispering in the dark as it whistles by you. The shadows beckon you to their warm embrace; where will the wind take you? For you must know, the wind was not the beginning. There are neither beginnings nor endings to the turning of the Wheel of Time. But it was A beginning.
Current Events
The Fourth Age brought about more than a few changes for the White Ajah. Less secluded in the Tower than they were in the previous Age, the White Ajah works closely with the Brown Ajah, the Spirit Legion and(occassionally) the Earth Legion of the Black Tower, and the Academies.
They became more involved in teaching both at the White Tower and the Academies, predominantly in more theoretical and specialized subjects. Like the Brown, White Sisters took up positions as educators, focusing on more logic-driven subjects: philosophy, mathematics, engineering, etc. They have also become much more involved with academic research related to the One Power – mysteries, different weaves, the ethics and logic behind using objects created with the it and so on.
The White Ajah is in favor of collaboration between the two Towers, in order to study how (and why) the two halves of the Power (saidar and saidin) work together. Unlike the Browns' hands-on approach, the White Ajah focuses more on the theoretical aspects of their academic research.

Brown Ajah/Spirit Legion: The White Ajah is mostly preoccupied with the “why” rather than the “how” (which is more of the Brown Ajah’s area of expertise) regarding different topics, including the use of the One Power and the semantics, logistics, ethics and philosophy behind it. They also seriously dabble with the logistics and theoretical framework of using saidar and saidin together.
Earth Legion: Involvement with a focus on blacksmithing, engineering, etc. The White Sisters outsource the creation of various theoretical instruments to the Earth Legion Asha’Man smiths.
Academies: Involved as educators at the Academies. White Sisters teach predominantly at the Academy of the Rising Sun in Cairhein due to it's dedication to engineering and invention. They are active to a lesser extent at the Academy of the Rose, as it focuses on politics and history.

- Is loosely allied with the Brown, less so with Green
- Relatively tense with the Blue due to Alviarin shenanigans pre-TG, but is also tense with the Red
- Will support the Yellow over the Blue, but the Green over the Yellow
- May occasionally support the Red over the Blue, but can go either way
- Supports the Grey over the Red, but the Green over the Grey
- Supports the Brown over the Green, but if Brown supports Blue, then will support the Green
- If Green and Brown support the Red then so will the Whites
- But if the Brown and Green support Yellow then they will support them even if Blue supports Yellow
