Let's discuss what all the Seanchan peeps are getting into!
Summary:
Arad Doman
Did they lose land to Tai'Seanchan? Undecided, but there is a long stretch of unclaimed land between Arad Doman and Saldaea so if they did lose some land to Tai'Seanchan maybe they could make it up there, but there are a lot of steddings there.
Kay: Perhaps an angle for some Ogier/Westlands connections
Eve: I was just typing on my phone while I dished myself up, so I couldn't type it all fast enough. I totally agree that they would definitely be a bit down on their luck after TG and the Seanchan war. They are known as some of the very few who can hold their own in Sea Folk trade negotiations however, so I feel like that would give them a leg up too.
Also, I feel like it needs saying, Bandar Eban and their style of dress makes me think of nothing so much as Agrabah from Aladdin.

Kay: The Tai'Seanchan maintain strong ties with Illian as well as Arad Doman, however, and have a strong working relationship with the Seafolk that some speculate to be the result of a grand bargain.
Eve: Maybe the Domani brokered that deal between T'S and the Sea Folk
Shai’tan: and brought the seafolk into the dragon compact?
Kay: Sea folk get their islands back maybe? And windfinders’ rights equal to Aes Sedai in Tai’Seanchan?
Eve: And they would have needed HELLA negotiations to bring them to the table with TS, so I like the Domani playing the mediator role
Kay: Sort of a “thank you” for their role in the Seanchan War

Eve: And since Mat gave Tuon a razor, maybe AD agrees to only trade them with TS as I imagine it would be a heck of a feather in the hat of a Blood member. Though, if we ever see one in site, I sort of expect it to be a singular affair.
Shai’tan: or if a character gets one, maybe it could be an event prize?

Kay: What about their government? It sounds like the King didn't have much authority and that it was largely the Council in charge...do we see that continuing into the Fourth Age?
Eve: I think Rodel Ituralde could have founded a good dual leadership with the Council.
Terrac’s/Menethil: I think a weaker central power would be better if we want to foster cooperation, but we're leaning in toward a constitution here if we want to establish that kind of stability imo.
Kay: constitutional elected monarchy? I can dig it.
Eve: Something that caught my fancy, what if some (not necessarily all) of the library burned during the invasion? Just a nod to it being similar to the library at Alexandria?
Kay: I...think we have an identity for Arad Doman? They're our wily seductresses who are rebuilding a nation through shrewd deals and working on/have a constitution, and helped develop a new major library. Pretty cool!
Eve: Oh I remember one more thing!
They have a far out city who’s name is Katar, and it borders right on the west side of the Mountains of Mist, so it would be cool if they worked out/are trying to get a trade deal with Manetheren and their mines going...I also see them firmly tied to the country now after Ituralde.

Tai'Seanchan
Kay: One other area I'd like to talk about is their relationship with the Aiel...but that may want to wait until we have a clearer picture of the Aiel.
NatGeo: Altara was originally supposed to be the seat of Seanchan power in Randland
but things likely changed with the split between Seanchan and Tai'Seanchan
Eve: Yep, their capital is Falme
NatGeo: Did we go into why?

Seanchan
Kay: The image I have for them is very...fractured, compared to their Tai'Seanchan cousins. Years of war and strife against one another, the Westlands, and a resurgent blight have the new Imperial family playing delicate balancing games to stay on top. Lots of room to plot here!
I think the first thing is, it's a very factional nation and we currently have no factions
I don't think we need to go in depth with them, because they probably shift easily, but it might be nice to know what the general scenery is like. I was thinking we could use the other cities I mentioned but didn't have info for (Kirendad and Noren) as hubs for them, at least

fireflies: Military faction type of a thing or something a bit more different?
Kay: It could be, broadly, old high blood (pre civil war) vs. new (ascended as a result of power accumulated fighting since)
