The Two Towers: a Delegation to remember

We are doing a historical plot for a delegation from the Black Tower to come to the White Tower to establish good faith and an exchange program. Reply to this thread with plottage ideas and the names of the characters you would like involved. This historical thread is to take place one year ago, when the new M'Hael was raised. The Lace of Ages had a cool idea that one of things that might go down at the delegation is the study of how things created by different halves of the source are somewhat different in color.

Tossing this here before I forget, can move to doc if desired.

Perhaps the reason Ishara and Elaira are chosen to be the serving Accepted for the Amyrlin and her guests during this is their above average OP strength and their (albeit limited) experience shielding a male channeler (their adventure with Cirus). If things suddenly went sideways, the two of them are more likely to be an asset rather than a hindrance to the Aes Sedai in attendance. So, a bit of an insurance policy for the Amyrlin.

Throwing this in a bit late. Sariska will be involved unofficially, gathering some materials (ter'angreal and what not) that will be misplaced stolen by darkfriends during the meeting.

ATTENTION! These are the topics, events, etc that will occur at the Delegation. If you have anything you would like to add, want to touch on, or have removed before these items become CANON, please reply to this thread BY March 16th. Thank you.

1. Exchange program: A Year-long program to exchange Accepted/Dedicated between the Towers to foster goodwill.

-Living quarters for students and teachers will be constructed at both towers
-Channelers will attend the same classes that do not pertain to channeling
-Will also learn about forming circles with opposite sex channelers

2. An agreement made between the Amyrlin and the M'hael to double bond in one year.

-Arrangement preparations
-Guestlist
-Protection details

3. A neutral meeting place for the Red Ajah and Fire Asha'man to find a way to work together cohesively

-Calina and Gareth will be tasked with setting this up and playing mediators
-To be held at one of the Trakand estates

4. Testing Asha'man for the taint

-This hot button topic will be suggested by the Red Sitters
-It will ultimately be rejected

5. A raid will take place

- A ter’angreal will be stolen during the chaos

I think it all looks really good...my only question is why was Gareth chosen when he is still a soldier at the delegation? The delegation is in 111 and he was raised to dedicated in 112. I mean, I get that you want those characters to thread about it, but I have trouble seeing how he would land that job when he isn't even fire legion yet? I want him to do it, but I just don't see how him getting that gig makes sense IC...Maybe he can accompany a more experienced NPC or something?

The reason I thought he'd be chosen was that he's the 1st Prince of the Sword in Andor so he'd be well taught in politics and since he's not in the fire legion, he'd also be a well-spoken mediator. Same goes for Cal, she's not in the Red Ajah but as a Sitter, and having played Daes Dae'mar, she too would serve as a good mediator. Gareth could also provide an estate of his families as a neutral meeting place that would still be well guarded and within Andor's borders.

But I'd be more than alright assigning him a superior to accompany him. I did forget to add that the meeting between the Red Ajah and Fire Asha'man would be arranged to take place after the Bonding Ceremony so the Red's would have time to see the exchange program in action and how the two leaders of the tower have come together(as close as they can outside of getting married lol).

And since it isn't as big of a deal as the BC, the planning for it would probably be scheduled after the BC, so Gareth would be a Dedicated at the time of being assigned.

Yeah I forgot Cal was gray...I think I combined her with Elaira or something lol. I think being a Dedicated, he would need a full Asha'man "supervising" since it is BT business not Andor business, but if I am outvoted I will go with the majority An NPC can muck up the works after all.
