APPEARANCE

She is of average height and weight, with gray streaking her dark hair. She carries herself with a straight back. Alise has a pleasant and unremarkable face, mild usually, with a jaw that is perhaps a little long.

 Her smile can be warm and comforting or quite stern.

PERSONALITY

Alise is a very good administrator and the Aes Sedai respect her and appreciate her abilities to manage the Kinswomen. She is very intelligent and formidable. She is not intimidated even by the Aes Sedai.

Alise does not persuade. She simply expects people to do as she says and people do tend to do what she says without her raising her voice, even those who didn’t know her. Alise ran the farm despite the fact that she was not the oldest and she ran it excellently, and she continues to lead the Kin efficiently.

Alise does not suffer fools gladly and though she is not as acerbic about it as Nynaeve was, she simply does not put up with foolishness or with bending the rules, much less breaking them, because the rules are what kept the Kin together and safe for so many years.

HISTORY

Alise was born in the year 819 NE and went to the White Tower in the year 835 NE. She was a Novice for two and a half years and after she was sent away because her weakness in the One Power.

She fled the Seanchan attack on Ebou Dar and assisted in the Last Battle. She became the leader of the Kin and signed agreements with most of the Nations of the Westlands. The Kin are provided free housing in every land partaking in the trade route, and the traveling or healing fee was to go to whichever nation the gateway is opened from.

TIMELINE

819 NE - Birth

835 NE - Went to the White Tower

837 NE - Sent away from the Tower because her weakness in the One Power

861 NE - Began running the farm in Ebou Dar

1000 NE - Alise flees the farm with Elayne and the rest of the Kin when the Seanchan attack and assists in the Last Battle. She becomes the leader of the Kin as a whole and signs an agreement with Andor.
