It’s been over a century since the forces of the Light fought and won at Tarmon Gaidon. The Peace Pact negotiated by the Dragon Reborn is honored by all nations of the West Lands for more than 20 years, but was shattered when invasion threatened anew from over the Aryth Ocean. Many heroes fought and were lost while beating back the invading Seanchan Empire. People flock to the White and Black Towers in numbers not seen since before the Breaking. Twin beacons of defense against the Shadow, they have fought together and against one another in turns, but must forge a lasting alliance as the Blight spreads from Shayol Ghul. The Dark One’s touch is felt on the world once more and what was, what is, and what will be may yet fall under the Shadow.
