Eilonwy is very slender, with no curves. Her mother would always say she was straight as a stick, and her grandmother would say she was all skin and bones as she tried to force another helping onto her plate. Her father didn't say anything about her appearance at all, since the two have never met.
Her eyes are large and gray, but brighten and sparkle like silver when she is feeling particularly passionate about something.

HISTORY
Eilonwy was born in the middle of a snowstorm during the winter of 87 FA to a single mother who was always working. She was raised mostly by her grandmother and the two had a very close relationship until she died when Eilonwy was 14. Her grandmother had been her constant companion and Eilonwy felt her loss deeply.
The two had spent much of their time outdoors, both enjoyed long walks and picnics and Eilonwy especially loved flying kites, an invention introduced to her by her mother.
No matter what the weather, Eilonwy loved to be out in it. She would run in the sun, dance in the rain, and build forts in the snow.
Her relationship with her mother was a loving one, but the two were not nearly as close. Her mother spent all her time at the academy, and although Eilonwy enjoyed spending time with her there, wasn't always allowed to accompany her mother.
She felt very lonely keeping the house as a young girl and dreamed of a life full of others and wanted very much to have a large family or group of friends. The sisterhood of the Aes Sedai appealed to her greatly and as soon as she was of age, she went to be tested. She was delighted to find that she could be taught to touch the Source and had the potential to become quite strong in the One Power. Saying goodbye to her mother was almost painfully easy and she settled into her new life at the Tower, determined to join this ancient and illustrious family.
One family member she was not expecting to gain was the daughter heir of Andor. Eilonwy deeply resented Ishara who represented the fall of her family and had come to the Tower before her, had higher potential than her, and always stole the spotlight everywhere she went. Eilonwy kept her resentment to herself for the most part, but did join in when other novices would play pranks against the young royal. She chafed under having her as the head of her Novice family, and never came to her for any help. She responded only when spoken to and kept her distance as much as possible. This ended up with her feeling left out of her own novice family, which she also blamed on Ishara. As soon as she was raised to Accepted, Eilonwy petitioned to join the exchange programs.
She absorbed knowledge like a sponge, a trait she had gotten from her mother, and did very well. She did a year with the Wise Ones as well as the Windfinders and found the latter to be extremely enjoyable. She seemed to have a knack with weaves pertaining to weather control and the Windfinders seemed sad to let her go back to the Tower.
Once back in the Tower, she applied what she learned to the delight of the Aes Sedai and started to get the attention she had been wanting. She was glad when Ishara was raised and left the tower, and felt that she could finally fully come into her own. The Mistress of Novices noticed this marked improvement and made her the leader of her old novice family.
Eilonwy fears that she will be the last in the line of Marne and wants to bring the family name as much honor as she possibly can.
TIMELINE
1000 NE - Arymilla Marne is stripped of her titles and land by Elayne Trakand. Her House is bankrupt and has abandoned her. Elayne offered Arymilla the opportunity of lands in Cairhien with the Andoran crown assuming her debts, and she begrudgingly accepted.
3 FA - Arymilla Marne marries a Cairhienin officer named Elricain Tavolin
4 FA - Aldrin Marne is born
22 FA - Aldrin Marne marries his childhood sweetheart, Lidan Caldevwin, and then joins the Cairhienin army to defend against the Seanchan
24 FA - Lidan Marne has twins, a boy and a girl, Dormin and Doesine respectively
25 FA - Aldrin Marne dies in the battle of Caechin
39 FA - Arymilla Marne dies of old age
45 FA - Dorin Marne joins the Cairhienin army
