Ever since he was a child, hearing tales of Logain the Sealbreaker, Dorevar Salloy knew he wanted to become an Asha'man. He was only 12 years old when he ran away from home to join the Black Tower in 59 FA. Unfortunately, upon arriving he was judged to have low potential, being weak in every element except air, where he was just slightly above average.
And so, Dorevar remained a soldier for nearly two decades, only being raised dedicated in 78 FA due to the power vacuum following the Tower War. Eleven more years would pass before he was finally raised Asha'man. Multiple soldiers admitted after him had already risen to high command positions by this time.
Once he joined the Air Legion however, his other abilities began to manifest. Dorevar had a tremendous knack for espionage, particularly its more controversial aspects. His apparent lack of strength in the Power, combined with his diminutive height and lack of many distinguishing features made him the ideal "unremarkable man."
However, years of being passed over for promotion had cast a long shadow over Dorevar. He had finally found something he was good at, but all in the service of the organization that had held him back at every turn. Even now, he was constantly being denied his just reward for his hidden services.
And then one day, Dorevar happened upon evidence of a dark plot within the Towers. An order within the order intent on the destruction of the Towers from within. Exposing this conspiracy would be an accomplishment that none could ever deny. He would be on track for high command for certain; maybe even the M'hael.
...Unless of course this secret organization could make him a better offer.
