It has only been one week since you, Ishara, and Taivin began on your journey to Saldaea and I miss you already. My superiors in the Black Tower have kept me excedeningly busy yet the days since I saw you last are akin to twenty years. Everyone within the Tower is a buzz with the upcoming Bonding Ceremony between our M'Hael and your Amyrlin. And yet my thoughts remain betwixed on when we shall reunite. Never was I happier than the day we expressed our feelings for each other but now I long to explore those feelings further with you.
Since your departure, I have spent my days and nights pondering over the question of which legion I will join once I become an Ash'aman. There was once a time when I felt certain I would enter into the Earth Legion as my great uncle Gawain once did. The choice seemed quite logical since Ishara desires to bond with me and, as you know, she is within the Green Ajah. Though my head tells me to stay the course, my heart yearns for something else. It is you, my Ellisande, in which I long to bond with. And it is you that I belong side by side with. My path has aligned with yours, for I now seek to join the Fire Legion.
Recalling Cirus's circumstances after he discovered the spark with how scared and alone he'd felt... I realized that nobody should have to endure such fear. It is my greatest wish to ensure that no male channeler should ever have to experience what he did. Which is why I am now certain that becoming a Fire Asha'man is my destiny. I can only hope that Ishara will understand my decisions. May the light guide you safely on your journey as well as to return you home with haste. You are my heart and soul Elaira!
