FRIENDS
Ilya isn't hard to get along with, though his current rank might make him a bit intimidating to approach. Still, he came to the Tower nearly forty years ago, so he's definitely picked up at least a few pals along the way. He spent some years as a Lieutenant in the south, working with the Sea Folk, and later returned north where he served as Captain in the Borderlands. He could easily have some connections from either place. He's likely had to work with Aes Sedai in his Healing work, and I'd be interested in forming some connections with sisters, especially those of the Yellow Ajah! He still feels vaguely awkward around Aes Sedai, though he's trying to overcome that in favour of closer relations between the Towers.
ENEMIES
It's hard to get on Ilya's bad side, but there's likely at least one or two people he's rubbed the wrong way. His gentle, peaceful nature can be at odds with those who want him to take a more aggressive approach. Moreover, as a Malkieri, Ilya has never been able to shake his mistrust of Seanchan. Furthermore as a Malkieri, he has a personal hatred of the Shadow--and those he discovers are loyal to it get a taste of what Ilya is like when he abandons kindness. Darkfriends may wish to step quietly around him.
LOVERS
I don't have anything specific in mind yet, though I think it'd be pretty cute if he and a Yellow sister hit it off? He's still too new for me to feel comfortable planning anything outright but if he gets along well with someone I'm game to develop it further.
