Jadin al'Vryon is a well built, towering man that can be intimidating to behold but then again what more would one expect of the Black Tower's M'Hael. He has rather dirty blonde hair that he keeps quite short and trimmed back away from his face. The man possesses a pair of bright piercing blue eyes that are small and half-moon shaped. Yet despite their size, they seem capable of peering directly into a person's soul. Jadin has a fetching square-shaped face, a broad jawline, and a wide firm chin. His is a full wide mouth that he rarely uses to display any expressions. Except for on the rare occasions when he does smile, it lights up his entire face and gives him that gentleness he can be known for. He has a cream-colored complexion that is blemish and scar-free. Jadin also possesses a full, bushy beard that he at least keeps trimmed and brushed.
Jadin al'Vyron was born in the winter of 10 FA to Voram and Amena al'Vyron. He was their first and only child as Amena would die giving birth to him. Her complications during the birthing process came on rather sudden. So without any warning, there had been no time to fetch an efficient healer before she passed. She only had managed to hold and name her son before death finally claimed her. Voram was, of course, grief-stricken with the loss of his wife but he also now had a newborn son to care for and raise. It was quite fortunate that Voram had an older sister who never married or had any of her own children. He sent her a letter telling of his wife's tragedy and one week later she moved in with him to help raise the child. Helaine al'Vyron was a kind, compassionate, and gentlewoman that grew to love Jadin as if he were her own. She would teach him to share the same values as her own. Helaine possessed great positive influence and adoration from the people of Taren Ferry. Which in turn granted her access to the best tutors for Jadin. Voram, as opposed to Helaine, was a strict man. He believed in teaching his son discipline, hard work, and honorable actions. As an Ailman, he supplied his son with lessons in hand to hand combat, short spears, knives, and ji’e’toh. Jadin grew up being well-loved, and as such, Jadin adopted both of their values into his personality... Though he wouldn't do so at first for he started off as an arrogant, irresponsible, and rash child. He believed himself superior to others and found it amusing to pull pranks on children his age. It would be shortly after turning 6, that an action of his would nearly get another kid his age killed. This would make him realize he needed to change his ways and heed the teachings of his father and aunt.
At 10 years old, Jadin would suffer a tragic loss of his father. In an attempt to break apart a violent duel between two men, Voram lost his head due to an angry swing taken by one of the men. And although Helaine had been akin to a mother to Jadin, she was also a frail non-channeling woman in her late 70's. So a decision that his uncle Culun Stepiros would be his guardian became agreed upon. Culun was Amena's younger brother that despised Voram; this was due to him being Aiel and an outsider. He had severed his ties with his sister when she had married Voram. But with his death, Culun saw an opportunity to manipulate Voram's son into becoming his obedient servant. This would be his reasoning behind the agreement he made to raise Jadin. But a huge obstacle stood in his way: Helaine. She was well aware of his hatred for her brother and refused to let the man erase everything Voram taught her nephew. Although frustrated by her ability to undermine his efforts, Culun refused to subside. Determined, he decided to rid himself of Helaine's meddling with a more permanent solution. He slipped an untraceable poison into her tea before bed one night. When he 'found' Helaine dead the next morning, a doctor declared her death to be the result of natural causes... And Jadin was beyond grief-stricken over the loss of yet another loved one.
With only Culun to rely on, Jadin remained blinded to his uncle's manipulations and cruel uses of him. But despite Culun working the boy to the bone, Jadin remained optimistic. He retained the lessons of Voram and Helaine throughout Culun's ill-treatment of him. When the Seanchan invasion/war began in 21 FA, Culun managed to slip out of lending his aid by using his nephew as his excuse. Since Jadin was only 11 with no other relatives, the feat was easy for Culun despite being a former soldier. While the war waged on, Jadin continued suffering under his uncle's control. A control that grew worse when Jadin began channeling. He was only 15 at the time but he showed great promise in his abilities almost immediately. Culun's manipulations only increased as he used his nephew's abilities for his advantages with the aid of a Wilder that he'd paid to teach Jadin. With most Asha'man preoccupied in Seanchan, Jadin's abilities stayed undiscovered by the Black Tower for 3 years. But shortly after the War ended in 28 FA, a Fire Asha'man learned of Jadin from concerned neighbors. He had been in the area recruiting and decided to investigate the claims of the young channeler. Culun tried to lie about Jadin's gift but the Asha'man refused to leave without testing him. It was immediately clear that Jadin possessed the spark and hence sent to the Black Tower. Never again would Jadin see Culun, which he'd be forever grateful of as he put his uncle and the bad memories out of his mind.
At 18, Jadin was a touch older than the other recruits, but he immediately proved his potential in combat. His Aiel father Voram had taught him well and the boy displayed a genuine knack for it. It was almost clear from the get-go that he'd become a great asset to the Earth Legion. It was also during his soldier years that Jadin met Julian Damodred, an Asha'man in the Spirit Legion. Assigned to train the new soldier recruits, Julian recognized Jadin's skills and determination. Impressed by the man's focus, Julian began to spend time with Jadin outside of training. Despite their different personalities, the two were quick to grow as close friends. They formed a tight bond as well as a genuine trust of one another. 4 years later Jadin would rise to Dedicated and a mere 4 more to become an Asha'man of the Earth Legion. He was 26 years old but beyond impressive in both his combative skills and One Power strength. And even after rising to the Asha'man rank, Jadin continued to train under anyone he'd convinced to do so. He pushed himself on an unending consistency as he strove to be the very best he could be and make his father proud.
In 55 FA Reports of the Blight appearing in the Borderlands reached the Black Tower. Jadin didn't even hesitate to join Julian in investigating the situation. The pair fought side by side watching out for each other while honorable in their service to the light. As a result, they managed to save many lives while simultaneous in improving their own skills. It would also be here that Jadin would discover his ability to read residues and recreate them, a feat that would come quite in handy throughout his life. But when Jadin and Julian were both called back to assist in the siege of Tar Valon by Rahlin, Julian refused. Jadin, as opposed to Julian, couldn't sit back and do nothing. His upbringing wouldn't allow for it. Jadin had to put a stop to Rahlin before the man had the chance to destroy the fundamentals of the Black Tower. Without haste, Jadin returned to the Black Tower and rallied the Asha'man into an uprising. They would depose Rahlin and his followers in 78 FA but it would be Jadin who would capture the man alive. They delivered Rahlin to the forces of the Dragon’s Compact. There the Amyrlin stilled the man herself for crimes against the Dragon’s Peace.
Jadin, henceforth, earned great recognition for his role in the uprising. Despite the War Council choosing Androl Genhald as M'Hael, Jadin would succeed him. True this was 33 years later but it was still quite the jump in position for the man. Although viewed to be on the young side to acquire the rank, Jadin had proven himself as an asset to the Black Tower. He also had the support of Julian, as well as several other renowned Asha'man. He had their respect and admiration as well as the talent to uphold their faith in his abilities. Jadin was thus cast into the role while Julian became his T'sorovan M'Hael. Immediately after being raised to M'Hael, Jadin began correspondences with the Amrylin to hold a Delegation between their two towers. Many important strides were made at the Delegation, including an agreement that he and Katreine din Ziago, the Amrylin, would double bond in a ceremony 1 year later. It is now spring of 112 FA and Jadin is 102 years old and double-bonded to Katreine.

The man is also gifted with quite a broad, muscled, and very toned body frame. A body that he's bulked up during his long service at the Black Tower. He is quite strong, eats a healthy protein-heavy diet, and works out to stay in tip-top shape. The man also has impressive speed and agility that comes quite in handy when in battle or in training his men. He keeps his chest shaved and the man has no scars or tattoos. Jadin's attire is the typical black in which Asha'man wear or he can be found clad in armor. As far as the textiles go, he prefers breathable kinds of cotton and wool. (Play-by: Chris Hemsworth)
PERSONALITY
This young M’Hael is both a noble warrior and a man of honor. He is a wise man that often thinks through his actions, reflecting on his father’s lessons and Helaine’s wisdom as guidance. Courage, compassion, and drive are key principles ingrained into his very soul. Jadin is also passionate, determined, and loyal to a fault. He would lay down his life for any of his men without so much as a second thought. Although, when it comes to earning the man's trust, the feat is not quite as easy. Jadin isn't a fool that will put his faith in anyone, he knows that there are servants of the dark hidden everywhere. To be ignorant of such could very well result in his death or the deaths of his men so due to this Jadin is also cautious.
He has a large amount of respect for family, who have defined his personality—his father Voram and his aunt Helaine, who he loved very much. Had it not been for his wise father, he would still be full of arrogance and irresponsibility, a fact that he is quite well aware of. His aunt's similarly wise but gentle touch taught him to fight for good and justice. Because of their teachings as well as their loss, Jadin is incredibly understanding and comforting to his men when it comes to such similar circumstances. He understands the hole a lost loved one can create within the soul. Therefore he is quite approachable and easy to talk to concerning difficult matters. Jadin is also easy to converse with about other topics as well. His men find him friendly, to be a good listener, and often equipped with astounding advice. Many account him to be a strong, fair-minded leader.
Jadin is also a hardworking, vigilant soul that desires to see his men succeed and grow in strength as well as individual pride. Though don’t let his stoic expressions fool you, for if he’s in the right mood, he can be a comical man and the occasional prankster with those closest to him. But generally, the pranks are harmless and serve as a means for getting someone, usually Julian, back for something they pulled on him. Still, having been raised in the ways of Ji'e'toh by his Aiel father, Jadin does strive to uphold those honorable principles as best he can. Thus he is a very honest man that shows a lot of heart for both his job and his men. He simply wishes to defend the light, protect those who cannot protect themselves, and to be a great leader.
