He has an easygoing feel to him and many people feel comfortable talking to him. He is normally quite friendly and always willing to help someone with a task or give them advice. He has a very realistic view of life, not overly optimistic but not noticeably pessimist either. He sees things as they are. He has a strong sense of morals and many respect him for that. He also has a sense of responsibility rivaled by few and if something needs to be done, he will see it done even if he has to do it himself. He always keeps his promises, no matter what it costs him personally. He does have a weakness for small children and will never hesitate to give a child a smile and speak to them, even if it means pausing his schedule for a bit. He believes that children should be respected as much as adults and never treats children like inferiors. Internally, he struggles with his rage on occasion, knowing that if he loses control it would be disastrous. The biggest trigger for his anger is insulting his family, especially if paired with insulting their lowly status in society. He is very proud of both the laborers and the soldiers in his family, and disparaging them boils his blood faster than anything else. Apart from this, his nature and demeanor are identical. His greatest fear is losing control and hurting someone he is close to. His loyalty is hard to earn, but once a person has it, it is theirs for life unless they do something to lose it. He has many acquaintances and few real friends, but his friends are the closest kind. Zolyas would die for any of his friends. |

One might expect a Cairhienin noblewoman to be refined and proper, even if she does come from a relatively minor house. However, Elira does not particularly care what anyone expects. Oh, she knows all the proper etiquette. She knows how to curtsy, how to smile, who to defer to and who she stands above. Frankly, though, she finds Daes Dae’mar incredibly annoying. And stupid. She came to the White Tower hoping to find an escape...and found that Aes Sedai were even worse. Fortunately, Elira is nothing if not resourceful. Once known for her volatility and immaturity, her time in the White Tower has taught her how to cool off and bide her time. (She’s not any less cynical or sarcastic, though.) Her dream in life has long been to retire to an isolated cottage in the forest—alone, preferably--where she can paint without anyone to bother her. And if anyone does follow her there, she’ll just throw fireballs at them until they go away. At least that’s what she used to want, and it’s what she tells anyone who asks. What she actually wants, though, isn’t fully clear even to her. She’ll never admit it, but she’s not nearly as selfish and aloof as she thinks she is. She cares about others and about the world, and there’s a youthful, hopeful part of her that would like to leave it a better place. Without that firm belief that people can--and should--help others, she probably would’ve fit right in at home. She still feels like a perpetual misfit: she’s not as calm and level-headed as an Aes Sedai should be, nor as manipulative and cunning as a noble needed to be. Elira can seem proud and irritable at times, and that partly stems from her insecurity. That’s at least part of where her indifference comes from, too: she feels like she’s not good enough to change anything or to make any kind of difference. She feels like she’ll never be good enough, while at the same time struggling to prove herself worthy of respect. She has a ways to go before she finds her footing in the world--and what she wants that place to look like. | [attr="class","paradebox"]
Calm and patient are how one would describe Ilya—at least at first. There is a certain degree of truth to it. He is difficult to anger (though those who do manage it find that they seriously regret it). He rarely seems hurried or frantic, even in the midst of a battle. Those who know him better, however, can recognize the strained lines of his jaw and brow when he is worried. It’s less that he is unflappable and more that he is good at hiding his concern. Anxiety does not plague him as much as it once did, though, and Ilya has learned to laugh at much more than he used to. One might see the hadori and expect a grim, stern warrior. While he can be solemn at times, Ilya is rarely ever stern. Friendly, easy-going, and good-humoured, he often has a smile ready. He is gentle at heart, and the sword he wears at his hip is mostly for show. (The real weapon is the staff he often carries, which he is reluctant to use albeit far from unskilled with it.) Ilya is a bit eccentric, too, which somewhat ruins the image of a calm, composed Captain-General. It can be hard to take him too seriously when he’s attempting to create a ball pit by filling a ditch full of glowing orbs. He is also known for his humility. For much of his life, Ilya has struggled with self-esteem. It has crippled him in many ways, from making him believe he has no chance of improving to souring his relations with women. Much of his young adulthood was spent fighting the after effects of a childhood where he was taught that all he could do was fail. He has a streak of rebelliousness and mistrust for those in power, and that has set him on the right path at times. It has also brought him into conflict with those who sought to help him. | [attr="class","paradebox"]
Although he is not the brightest crayon in the box, Vanya tries his best. That's a pretty good summary for his entire personality. He is a gentle, kind-hearted man. His humble, mild nature makes him pleasant to speak with, even if he doesn't quite understand all the subtleties of etiquette. At times his choice of career might seem odd. He often thinks so. Yet perhaps it isn't so strange, really: every Borderlander knows that duty is heavier than a mountain, and Vanya is no exception. He is an honest man, sometimes painfully so. His step-father and many of his uncles were not--and as if in retaliation for this, Vanya is certain never to break his word once he has given it. He binds himself tightly with honour he has picked up on his own, having never been taught any. You'd be hard-pressed to get him to abandon it: he can be very stubborn once he's set his mind to something. He isn't a complete fool, however; Vanya is naturally a bit mistrustful and wary, especially after discovering his affinity for wolves, and it takes some time to get him to warm up to you. He'll be polite, but there aren't many people he'd really consider a friend. Any true friend of his is a friend for life, though. He's loyal to the last. |

Ariel is a beautiful woman, and there are some who do not see past that at first. They are making a serious mistake, of course. Her grandmother said that her eyes were the colour of a storm, never properly gray or blue. And a storm she can be. For the most part, Ari seems polite, outgoing, and charming. And unlike many nobles, her interest and care for others is often real. Others often mistook that as simply another tactic of Daes Dae’mar, and while Ari certainly can and does play the Game of Houses, she is also capable of being genuine. Of course, that doesn’t mean she can’t enjoy misdirection when it suits her. She has a penchant for mischief and secrecy that she has never quite lost. Beneath the mild front she presents, however, she does have a temper. A well-hidden, well-managed one, but it is certainly there. She is fiercely independent to her core, and the Mistress of Novices never did manage to beat her rebellious streak out of her. That doesn’t mean she can’t follow—she’s not stupid. But at the end of the day, Ariel will do what Ariel thinks is best. Fortunately, she is also a kind woman; she is not interested in hurting others, and she isn’t afraid to stand up and speak out when she thinks something is unfair. There were some who thought those characteristics would push her to the Blue or the Gray Ajahs, yet she chose Green. The fact is that Ariel does not particularly enjoy or like responsibility. Or power. She won’t balk from it if it is thrust upon her, but she does not seek it out. As an older sister and the heir to House Flanagan—and now as Aes Sedai—she’s had plenty of it already. She’s been mostly content to spend her days blasting Trollocs to bits while her crew of Warders protects her. Whether that will change remains to be seen.. |

Gareth is a quiet, reserved soul that’s in every way a gentleman who is often calm, collected, and sensible. He is respectable, kind, and gracious. He thrives for obtaining as much knowledge as possible in, well, everything! He's a bit more proper than Ishara and when he's not protecting her, training at the Black Tower, or practicing combat skills; Gareth's often found with a book in his hands. He also enjoys singing, dancing, drawing, painting, horseback riding, and writing poetry. Being a huge hopeless romantic and a dreamer, Gareth’s mannerisms are often inspired by the arts and the heroes within the stories they often tell. His kindness and boundless courage give him the drive to speak his mind and to act when necessary. He also stands up for what’s right and finding joy in the adventures he partakes in alongside his sister... Even if he doesn’t always agree with her methods. But he does his best to support and understand her while also doing his duty to keep her safe. He tends to be the voice of reason where she's concerned but he lives for the experiences almost as much as she does. Plus Gareth loves his sister dearly as the two have always been quite close. There is little that he would not do for her including lay down his life to save hers. He also deeply loves both of his parents and is very close to them but his bond with Ishara is his strongest connection. As a royal, Gareth has quite the elegant speech many would expect of his station and is known for acting properly as opposed to acting rashly. His expensive education has gifted him with an impressive intellect for his age, which comes in handy both in combat and in politics. But the man also has a decent sense of humor that knows how to have fun when he wants to. He's quite approachable as well as trustworthy. There are few that find him dis-likable or vice versa can be said of his feelings towards those he meets. He is a friendly soul that has an ease connecting with others. The man is also skilled at comforting others with his great patience, a remarkable ability to listen, and providing the best advice in which he can. Gareth would never betray his family, friends or his people. All in all, he is a compassionate soul generally equipped with honorable actions and a heart of gold. | [attr="class","paradebox"]
Sultry warrior is two words that best describe the beautiful yet deadly Zamira. She is a woman that exudes fierce self-confidence with a simultaneous demand for respect. As the head of the Battle Ajah, her capability to stand her ground and strike fear into the hearts of her enemy is considered a gift. Her fast and forward-thinking intellect is also quite handy as she is often several steps ahead of her opponents. There are few that do not marvel at her fearlessness as if she were the very personification of the word. Zamira is also gifted with remaining calm even in the most chaotic of situations. She doesn't let her emotions cloud her judgment when commanding her sisters in battle. It is imperative for her to always remain vigilant of all that occurs around her and knowing how to tackle any challenge. Retaining a fine balance of tactics and strategy are what make her so keenly suitable for her position. But Zamira is so much more than a warrior and leader, she is almost infinite in her many complexities. Although she can occasionally be temperamental and is far more likely to pin your ass to the ground than be your friend... Zamira can be approachable by her fellow Aes Sedai. Her personality might not be the softest yet she has lent a sympathetic ear to many sisters offering support to their various plights. Service within the Green Ajah can have its trials that may weigh heavily upon a soul. Death courts a sister of the Green intimately. Whether it may strike a blow to a friend, warder, lover, sister, etc; Zamira always does her best to supply comfort. She knows that loss can be trying for anyone and thus the woman often checks in with her Ajah sisters. Her ability to be understanding and patient, when she needs to be, also serves as another reason she's trusted as the Head of Green. Beyond being badass and approachable to her sisters, Zamira's also a bit enigmatic. She is well guarded and secretive regarding certain aspects of her life which leaves people guessing about what might be going on underneath. Clever, cunning, and brilliantly seductive are just a few tools of her trade that she's capable of putting to good use. Her silver-tongued words and oozing charms also serve her well. And though few can claim to be close with Zamira, save for her half-sister Avyanna, they still find themselves drawn to her. As a matter of fact, it is with Avyanna that she has the strongest relationship with. She has a deep love and respect for her half-sister and would do practically anything for her. Their bond is indestructible so to threaten the Mistress of Novices is to incite the wrath of the Captain-General. | [attr="class","paradebox"]

Tseia 's Characters

As a child, he hated to be cooped up inside. He was the first of his siblings to bolt outdoors and the last to return home. Even when it was less than wise to venture outdoors, Tai would manage to slip away somewhere, preferring freedom and fresh air. His uncle equated him to a spirited colt, with the oft repeated need to bridle him to get him to hold still. This has not changed in the years since, save perhaps a higher tolerance of indoor spaces. Taivin takes after the founder of his line, if the family stories are to be believed, as he is an inherently modest individual. He is not one to boast of his abilities and one might even argue that he does not fully understand the extent of them. He was the youngest of three boys, after all, and often found himself in the shadows cast by his far more charismatic brothers. When his skills are commended, Tai emphasizes practice and repetition, over any natural talent. As such, he can come off as unintentionally arrogant, with some believing he downplays his expertise on purpose. Not that many would say so directly. Tai has a rather austere demeanor and many would not risk his predicted ire. Contrary to this, he is quite kindhearted. He demonstrates this with his actions, though, instead of words. This makes him an excellent instructor, even if his students tend to be intimidated. He does, however, have a low tolerance for foolishness and will not hesitate to admonish someone who has acted so. Taivin is also fiercely loyal, to his family, to his people, and to those few who have won his friendship. There is little he would not do for them. Yet even to those people, he often remains at a certain emotional distance. There are a number of reasons as to why he has grown this way, but the first and foremost would be his Talent. Being able to foresee any misfortune in someone’s life might equip him to mitigate their effects, but it cuts him deeply that he is unable to prevent their occurrence to being with. And so, whether consciously or not, he often keeps himself several stages removed. |

Calm and reserved, Aviva seems to be the very image of an Aes Sedai. She has no need to draw attention to herself, nor does she desire it. She is observant and intelligent, always watching the world around her. This habit of stepping back and studying her surroundings can make her appear snobby and unfriendly. She knows this, but isn't bothered by it. Aviva has never cared what anyone else thinks of her behavior. Aviva has always had a strong sense of self. She is someone who knows what she wants and is willing to put in the work required to achieve it. Rules and laws hold little importance for her, and she isn't capable of blind obedience. This doesn't mean that she can't obey or take orders. Rather, she follows her own interpretation of right and wrong and refuses to go against it. Aviva is unafraid to speak her mind, and cares little about the consequences for doing so. She is difficult to get to know, but the few people who have invested the effort have found that in Aviva, they have a loyal friend for life. She will do anything she considers reasonable to help someone she cares for. Not very talkative, she is a very good listener, and is known in her small circle for giving the advice her friends need to hear, even if it isn't what they want to hear. She will always speak honestly, and has little tolerance for the half truths and not quite lies that so many other Aes Sedai use to circumvent the Three Oaths. At the core of herself, Aviva's motivations are quite simple. She does what she feels is right, and stands against all wrongdoing, even if that means she must stand alone. | [attr="class","paradebox"]
Discovering he could channel has damaged Sorin's self-confidence. He firmly believes this makes him little more than a dangerous animal. He holds the same view of the others at the Black Tower, and has trouble interacting with them more than is strictly necessary. Quiet and shy, he has become even more so, to the point of being withdrawn. His fear has made him skittish and isolated, and though he wishes he could make friends, Sorin isn't quite sure he deserves them. It might appear that learning to channel is the last thing Sorin would want, but this is only partly true. His first experience of using the One Power was terrifying for him, and he never wants to use it to hurt someone again. Sorin longs to be able to control his ability himself. He pushes himself hard to try to achieve it, but worries that it isn't possible. If someone could get past Sorin's fear to earn his trust, that person would find a kind, compassionate man who feels a great deal of empathy for others and has more of a liking for people than one might think. Due to his fear of the men of the Black Tower, Sorin tends to express this only around the animals he loves. His favorites are horses, and he can often be found around the stables if no grooms are nearby. He also has a fondness for birds, and likes to listen to them singing in the early morning. | [attr="class","paradebox"]
Ever since she learned she could channel, Senara has been determined to possess the power an Aes Sedai holds. Even as a child, she thrived on giving her siblings orders and knowing they would obey. Despite this, she deeply resents her parents for leaving her sibilings' upbringing to her. Being a parental figure for most of her childhood left Senara feeling capable of ordering the lives of others, but helpless to change her own. She dreams of a day when she alone will decide how she lives her life. To achieve this, she has become outwardly diligent and submissive, though the last is only an act she puts on to please the Aes Sedai. Senara works hard to present herself as the model of what an Accepted should be, and is very particular about her room, clothing, and assignments. As an Accepted, she has developed a love of teaching for the sense of control it offers her. She is strict with her students, having absolutely no tolerance for disobedience, but is also extremely patient, another trait learned from her childhood. She will devote endless hours to a novice she feels is truly struggling. With others, Senara is friendly on the surface, but ultimately distant. She has a wide circle of acquaintances, but few actual friends. She is very picky about who she allows to know her more than on a superficial level, and can turn on a supposed friend quickly and without warning if she feels slighted. This most often occurs if someone says or does something that might affect Senara's carefully cultivated image. When this takes place, or if someone pushes her far enough to provoke actual anger, Senara will stop associating with that person more than she absolutely must. Once offended, she will hold it against the person involved for years, and her forgiveness is virtually impossible to earn. Secretly, Senara has a need for recognition. She won't push herself forward for attention, but she craves approval and acknowledgment. She gravitates towards anyone who will offer her this, and can be easily manipulated by anyone who provides her with the smallest bit of praise. |

Leander is warm, friendly and expressive. He genuinely cares about the men who serve under him and makes a point of showing interest in their lives. Possessing an excellent memory, he can usually recall the name of anyone he's met once. He is a good friend to many, and willingly helpful to almost anyone, but is not the best listener. He'll try, but while he is a good problem solver and loves a challenge, he doesn't really understand the point of listening to someone's difficulties without taking action to deal with them. A hard worker, he is prone to overwork, and is often up long into the night. He believes that acting otherwise would be pure laziness, something Leander has absolutely no tolerance for. Though generally easy to get along with, anyone he perceives as not contributing enough will find himself or herself on the wrong end of Leander's temper. He can be harsh and overly critical in this situation, but is often regretful and apologetic once the initial anger passes. While he has high standards for others, Leander holds himself to them even more strictly. No matter how much he does, he is sometimes plagued by the feeling that he just isn't doing enough. At these times, he largely forgets everything he's accomplished in his many years, thinking only of what he has not done and wishes to achieve. He is driven by a need to serve his chosen home, and while he cares for others, his sense of duty results in a man who is not always as attentive to his own needs and desires. |

To most, Elaira Taravin is kind and thoughtful, if somewhat detached and distracted. She listens thoughtfully while others are speaking, lending an ear when she can and advice on request. She's quick to assist those who need it, often going well out of her way, and tends to have a hard time telling anyone “no.” This is particularly true for other Aes Sedai, to whom she's often eager to hand decisions both easy and difficult. Beneath her detached and helpful exterior, Elaira is a bundle of tightly controlled anxiety. Her life has become much larger and more serious than she ever could have imagined, and relying on others for guidance has become more of a crutch as her scope expanded. Still, with a goal of her own on which to focus, Elaira's making an effort to conquer her worries. | [attr="class","paradebox"]
Fiery, sharply intelligent and fiercely independent, Natasia would be a perfect heir to her father's post...if she weren't so determined to be just about anywhere but Sidona. From her earliest years, she was a quick study, easily picking up anything anyone tried to teach her whether it was martial or mental. She even excelled at picking up the things people avoided trying to teach her, as her parents found out when she came home cursing like a soldier. Natasia is kind and quick to offer help, but she has a tendency to rub others the wrong way; her confidence comes off as condescension, and she has a difficult time understanding other people. She wears that distance like a badge of honor, but in truth, it's something that's left her feeling lost. Unable to relate or befriend others in a genuine way, Natasia built up her confidence as a wall to prevent others from getting close and to help stave off the sting of rejection. The few people close to Natasia can see past it to the insecurities she grapples with on a regular basis. Her lust for travel, adventure, and discovery is her primary motivation, helping to drive her forward regardless. | [attr="class","paradebox"]
Extroverted, bold, and always willing to be the center of attention, Calina Taborwin spent her younger years honing her ability to entice people to her and those skills are still in active use. Whether with blade-sharp sarcasm or insightful gleanings, her wit was her weapon long before the Power came into her life. Her moods can be fragile things; she can be winter's ice or summer's heat easily, and often slips between them. In truth, Calina is a calculating and ambitious woman who was born and raised on manipulation. Every word, every passing glance, is part of a plan to advance herself or the causes she holds dear. Her wits, her looks, and her Power are her only weapons, but they're more than sufficient. The only time the mask slips is among people she truly cares for; mischief and sarcasm are two of her few outlets, and she employs both among her small circle of friends. |

Jaded and cynical, Toria Netari isn't one for making friends. She has a bitter, caustic tongue and a keen mind for insults, often able to see the weakest points in those unfortunate enough to draw her attention and as a result her ire. She does make an effort at staying silent and unobtrusive, but even in those moments she often seems sullen and condescending, Those few who stick with her in spite of it often see that the venom of her words is a front that rarely has her heart in it. In truth, Toria's edges come from a life hard lived, She's quite brilliant but no longer trusts most people, using her behavior as a weapon to keep them away. The enforced solitude that she's cultivated is hardly healthy, but Toria believes herself far past the point of rehabilitation. Those few she keeps close can often see the somewhat fragile genius poking out from behind the facade; not that she'd ever admit it to them. She's driven by her ambitions; everything else has long since burnt away. | [attr="class","paradebox"]
Alira Asuwan would describe herself as a woman tempered: one who has passed through the fire and been honed by it, a blade against the dark and chaos. She is not a creature of hate, but one of purpose and clarity. A woman of cold tempers and merciless calculation. Others might describe her as the shadow of a once vibrant woman that looms, large and dark, over others. Alira is not loud, or provocative, or rash. She is indomitable, willful, and possessed of a clear vision and the willingness to do whatever it takes to achieve it. She is willing to test her will against any challenge to her objectives or authority and has garnered a reputation for insight, cunning, and determination...and little tolerance for disagreement or disapproval. | [attr="class","paradebox"]
Confidence bordering on arrogance and an overly smart mouth have not been helpful traits to Ciawin, but they're what she has to work with. Ciawin believes deeply in herself and her causes, with a headstrong stubbornness that has earned her trouble both back home and in Tar Valon. She's quick to respond with sarcasm, sharp-edged and slightly cruel if she dislikes the target, friendly and teasing if not, regardless of whether that is wise or not. Cianwin is driven, clever, and even manages to be quite charming so long as her temper hasn't been raised, but she remains deeply inexperienced about both life at the White Tower and the wider world. Beneath her sarcastic bravado, Ciawin hides a fragility most would not expect. Life has not been kind to her, and much of it seems horribly unfair. Ciawin generally channels it into her public persona, but at times the weight of the world's injustice seems too much to bear, leaving her withdrawn, quiet, and moody. |

In a word, spirited. Ishara is as fiery as her hair. As a child, she was mischievous; harmless pranks often befalling servants, tutors and her brother, Gareth. Six years under the Mistress of Novices in the Tower curbed that particular streak, bringing hard-won maturity befitting of her station. Nothing could quell her sense of adventure, however. She would call herself “strong-willed” and “passionate,” while those nearest to her would say “stubborn, with a bit of a temper.” Ishara was a born leader, always bringing her brother and friend, Elaira, along for her schemes by sheer strength of will. Between her upbringing as Daughter Heir, and her training at the White Tower, she is a veritable force of nature. The impetuousness of youth is beginning to fade, as she takes on the mantle of Aes Sedai as well as Daughter Heir, and while she may still chafe a bit at authority, she takes her duty to the Tower, the Mother, and above all Andor, to heart. Her greatest fear is failure to live up to the expectations for her. Her namesake, Queen Ishara, forged Andor out of Hawkwing’s empire and reigned with strength, kindness, and wisdom that inspired legends and created a dynasty lasting centuries. That legacy, combined with the expectations of the Tower due to her potential in the Power and lineage, make the crown she will one day wear a heavy burden to bear, spurring her to travel the world and seek wild adventure while she is still able. Her loyalty, as with much of her personality, is fierce and deep. Andor and the White Tower hold it until her dying day, but above even them, are those she loves, and Gareth before all others. | [attr="class","paradebox"]
Moranna had been a happy and warm hearted child, but life has a way of dimming the light in ones who see too much tragedy. After the deaths of her mother, sister-mother, and later her brother, Moranna became more and more withdrawn, adopting the cool, dispassionate logic prominent amongst White Sisters. The icy demeanor earned her the title “Winter Queen” amongst Andorans during her time as ruler. In truth, the harsh, dispassionate exterior is a cover for the absolute emotional devastation she holds within. She clings to logic and facts the way a drowning woman would a branch in a flood. If she allowed emotions to rule for even a moment, she would be swept away on a tide of them that would destroy her completely. Her own daughter, Talana, though loved by Moranna, was kept strictly at arm’s length to never allow the bond to grow too deeply between them. In part perhaps it was to protect her own heart, but more importantly, it was the only gift she felt able to give her child: protection against ever feeling the pain of loss that Moranna has endured. The sole exception to her emotional barricade is Avyanna, her counselor, confidant, and lover. | [attr="class","paradebox"]
Clever and witty, Lira has a sharp tongue and a sharper mind. She embraces her Domani heritage and fully steps into her sensuality, worshipping her body and inviting others to do the same with every movement, every glance, every word. She takes the Domani traditional art of seduction to new heights, quite literally when she ascends her aerial silks. Lira is charismatic to a fault and people are often drawn to her, for good or ill. Quick thinking and sometimes a well thrown dagger have kept her out of any lasting trouble so far. She is fiercely loyal and protective of all those she loves, and will verbally eviscerate any who dare speak ill of her rather large and motley extended family. |

Eilonwy is very quiet and conservative. She excels in an environment full of order and rules. She will not tell a lie even if it is to her own detriment. If she had been raised in Mayne she probably would have made a good whitecloak. She enjoys having power over others, but has no desire to exploit that power, she just enjoys feeling important. Her desire to be liked and accepted makes her vulnerable, and she will go above and beyond to curry favor. She has difficulty saying no to requests and over-strains herself often. She has a strong sense of honor and takes great pride in her family name. She very much wants to make the world a better place, and despite being overly self critical, thinks that she knows what is best for the world. | [attr="class","paradebox"]
Ranai likes to do things by the book. She wants to be brave and brash, but she clings to rules and the safety they bring. She is obsessed with Moiraine Damodred and wants to grow up to be exactly like her. She believes Moiraine Sedai to be the bravest woman alive and desperately wants to find that braveness in herself. Coming from the borderlands, the fear inside of her is a source of deep shame. Her brother is an officer in the Saldaean army and she is very proud of him. He was her first idol, and she still looks up to him a great deal. What little she knows about the sword, she learned from watching him. They used to wrestle as well, and practice hand to hand combat together. He gave her the kesiera she wears the day before she left for the White Tower. Her relationship with her sister is strained. Rania was the baby and felt like her older sister was jealous of her. She feels Selena to be dramatic, immature, and hungry for attention. Selena was always too wrapped up in trying to get everyone to notice her to notice her little sister. Ranai left for the tower while Selena was traveling with her show and the two barely know each other. Her relationship with her parents has weakened since her sister ran away and will continue to weaken as they grow apart. Ranai took to novice life more easily than many. She has a strong sense of honor and does her best to make her family proud. It hasn't fully hit her yet that the Tower is her new family. She respects all the Aes Sedai, and though she needs instruction on how to complete chores she had never done before coming to the Tower, she does try her hardest. She greatly respects and admires the Mistress of Novices and is one of the few Novices who has spent time with her warder. Ranai is very good at keeping her emotions under check, but she still has very strong feelings, even if she doesn't always express them. She isn't one to desire to get the last word in, and will bite her tongue just to keep the peace. | [attr="class","paradebox"]
Dena seems to be all wide eyed innocence and shyness when first met. She is soft spoken, but each word is enunciated clearly, giving a good indication of where she was raised. She seems especially shy to men at first, but this is actually a calculated coyness designed to pique their interest and make them feel protective of her. She is both extremely private and a bit of an over-sharer. While she does not like to tell people much of import, she does like to talk and once you get her started, it can be difficult to stop her. Her favorite topic of conversation is always the person she is talking to at the moment. She takes pleasure in learning about others and what makes them tick. Most people enjoy this and consider her to be a good listener and a great conversationalist. Dena delights in cooking almost as much as talking. Her mother would make Domani meals on special occasions and they would spend all day in the kitchen together. Her mother always said she would never trust a Cairhienin to cook a proper Domani dish and so it was just the two of them with no servants. Those were some of her happiest memories, and Dena developed a deep love of the culinary arts. In Cairhien, Dena had an easy life. Being born into one of the stronger houses, she did not want for anything. She grew to become somewhat spoiled and shallow and can be a complete brat when she doesn't get her way. While she has become more worldly since leaving home, she is still selfish and immature. |

Julian is vain, arrogant, cocky, and extremely sure of himself. It is somewhat forgivable though, because he can back most of it up. He is strong in the one power, and has had much battle experience. His insatiable appetite for books makes him well versed in a number of subjects. He tends to be a bit of a know it all, and loves correcting people. He enjoys being the best, but he enjoys it most when he is teaching others to be the best as well. He loves the look on people's faces when they are both impressed and grateful to him; it's the ultimate ego trip. In strange company he stays true to his Cairhien nature. He is stuffy and formal and loathe to allow any real emotions to show through. He does enjoy a good joke, though with his sarcasm they can be more of barbed insults. He is a fan of the witty retort and one liners. When he is around close friends he is more relaxed, but there are few he considers to be close friends. Julian is fastidiously clean and organized. He needs things to be "just so", and becomes increasingly disturbed the more things are out of place. It is one of the many things that give him anxiety. He is a very particular person and likes to feel in control of things at all times. He has a lot of pride and has trouble admitting when he is wrong. He can be somewhat self-involved, selfish, and entitled. You'd think there would be a but after that, but there isn't. He can be those things...fairly often. His sense of humor, excellence at what he does, and rare talent make up for a lot. He's the kind of guy you tell people "you'll like him once you get to know him", and it's actually true. He tends to rub people the wrong way at first, but once they see he holds himself to the standard he holds everyone else, and how good he is, they are usually willing to overlook his less favorable characteristics. Plus he really can be very funny. | [attr="class","paradebox"] Kis is confident, crude, irreverent, and stubborn. He elicits either love or hatred from everyone he meets – no one is left without an opinion. While he’s usually sunny and utterly sure of his own importance, Kis is fearful of growing older, though he only admits this to his closest friend (Seden Brith). He finds that the sharp wits that have steered him through his whole life are slowly beginning to disappear. He spent most of his life as an indomitable force, and cannot see himself as anything less than that. He still rides his fame as the mere mention of his name strikes awe in nearly everyone he meets. In fact, Kis frequently repeats his own name over and over again throughout conversations and often punctuates his statements with an exclamatory announcement of his own name. He claims this eccentricity is because people can’t believe they are in the same room as the legendary Kis Riatin, and so he has to remind them. The truth is that he says his own name often to remind himself of what it is, though it is a truth he would never admit, even to himself. He believes that his name is also an inoculation against failure - that the mere mention of the two words, "Kis Riatin," will send his opponents running scared - and his bold moves within the game of Daes Dae'mar seem to support a belief in his own immunity to failure. Sadly though, he is beginning to forget things. He makes up for this decline by becoming even more eccentric than usual. A legend in his own time, who has perhaps lived past his time, and now, in his declining years, must face the reality that he can no longer live up to the legendary persona he has sculpted for himself, Kis is desperately attempting to cling to relevance. He leads the lifestyle of a much younger man and can be counted on to consistently carouse and womanize. Unapologetic, prone to sexual harassment, and happy to shoot someone to solve his problems, this aging nobleman is starting to become a liability to his house. Aside from his extremely conservative and old fashioned views, he is also self-obsessed and egomaniacal, seeking to continue to propagate his own myth by his actions, to "go out with a bang." His biggest fear is that in time, he will not only forget himself but also be forgotten by everyone else. | [attr="class","paradebox"]
Blessed with a clever, quick mind, Avyanna can be romantic and charming to those who enjoy dry wit. She is intuitive, introspective, and deep thinking. She uses humor to deflect and trivialize on personal matters, making her somewhat mysterious and unknowable. Her intuition is her strongest guiding force, and she often follows her "gut feelings". Avyanna trusts herself above all others, and is seldom wrong. This self assurance makes her confident and she has no trouble starting conversations with others or speaking her mind when she disagrees with them. She gravitates towards the finer things, enjoying the comforts in life. Avyanna prefers to mix with people of refinement and culture, but behind that sophisticated front, she can be surprisingly superstitious. She loves a good book and appreciates the arts. Though, she has very little artistic ability herself, and couldn't carry a tune to save a life. Her creative outlet is her job. Molding and shaping these young women takes even more creativity and originality than she sometimes believes she has. Luckily, that challenge is what she loves most about her position. She is graceful and soft spoken. Even when she is angry, Avyanna's voice remains soft, which can be terrifying in its own right. As the Mistress of Novices, she is in charge of all the Novices and Accepted. She acts as both confidant and disciplinarian. When a Novice or Accepted finds that they have broken the rules, they are usually told by an Aes Sedai to report to the Mistress of Novices, who hands out punishment. Punishment ranges from a lecture to a severe switching, and extra chores are usually involved. However, she is also there if a new novice finds Tower life too difficult, and needs some comforting. Avyanna is generally kinder to novices who come to her for problems than Accepted, as it is expected that Accepted will know better. Avyanna is pragmatic and deals with things in a sensible and realistic way that is based on practicality. She is very sympathetic, very firm, and always just in her disciplinary practices. She does her best to make her punishments fit their crimes. Though her compassion and empathy are expressed, she is also strict and her punishments can be harsh. She works hard to build a rapport with her charges, without ever compromising the rules of the Tower, or her own personal set of guidelines. She attracts others from all Ajahs with her generosity and her consideration. There are very few who do not find her approachable, and most of those few are Tai'Seanchan. She is known as one of the most even-tempered Greens. Though she is no stranger to fits of passion, she is not overly stubborn and will admit when she is in the wrong, provided she can be convinced that she is. She has a positive disposition, a versatile adaptability, and an expressive nature, uncommon amongst the Aes Sedai serenity. She is lauded for her level-headedness. She is known for her dedication, good judgment, and passionate opinions. She appears to take her duties very seriously and is passionate in her ideals. After her work, her deepest passion is her hawks. She visits them every morning, and still hunts with them occasionally. Her true passion is a secret of course, known to none but the one who holds her allegiance: Moghedien. |

Candia is warm and friendly, and has not been hardened by her profession. She does judge people by their smell however, and does not extend her warmth to those she believes to be criminals. If someone smells free of violence though, she tends to trust them easily and can be somewhat naive about it. She adores fashion and art and has a love of aesthetically pleasing things. Having grown up in a mining family, she doesn't mind getting her hands dirty, but she prefers to look pretty doing it. She has a very high opinion of her looks and can be a bit vain. She is quite strong willed and doesn't care for being told what to do. In fact, ordering her to do something, is a good way to make sure she does the opposite. She is outgoing and disarming and loves a bit of harmless flirting, but isn't interested in any romantic entanglements. Candia has never been in a boat other than a ferry and avoids them at all costs. She has no sea legs to speak of and would rather travel by any other means possible. Though she has traveled on horseback more frequently than by boat, she isn't much of a fan of them either. With gateways provided by the Kin, she is most likely to travel that way, using a horse as a pack animal and walking along side it. | [attr="class","paradebox"]

Rosyanna thinks before acting. She is cautious, but not always cautious enough. Her Aes Sedai composure has occasionally slipped of late, and she seems somewhat less sure of herself after stepping down from her post. She gets very excited by new ideas and concepts and is very curious. She loves to share knowledge with others and can be known to ramble on at length turning discussions into lectures. She chafes under the thumb of the Black Ajah and somewhat resents them for helping her come to power, only to use her as their fall guy. She is fascinated by the new exchange program however, and is excited to be a part of it. She has also been tasked by the White Tower to assist in the assassination investigation and to see if it is connected to the disappearances of the ter'angreal on her watch. She is tasked by the Black Ajah to impede the investigation by both Towers in any way that she can. |
